Big Day Out is a range of trips and days out across the year taking place right here in London and across the UK. This event series will take students to places that are off the tourist track highlighting the real London and amazing sites across the UK. From Graffiti Tours, Food Markets, Beaches, Museums and so much more.  

This Big Day Out will take you to one of the worlds most famous modern art galleries the Tate Modern where you will get to check out works from Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Picasso and so much more.

After we will head to one of London's oldest markets, Borough Market where you can buy some street food.

This trip will be completely free.

Meeting Point: South Bank SU Staff will be outside the LSBU Student Life Centre waiting for you - please arrive for 10:45am, ready to depart at 11:00am. Please note you will need to show your ticket to attend: check the email you registered with. 

The Route: We'll walk to the Tate Modern from campus, the walk will take around 30 minutes with iconic views and landmarks to see on route! After we've enjoyed the art, we'll head along the Thames towards Borough Market.
